With so many harmful chemicals in our food, environmental issues, and rising prices of fresh vegetables , at some point gardening could become the key to survival and sustainability. What was once a hobby is now turning into an adult girl-scout project! But I'm not your typical southern gardener....I'm a chick who has embraced the fact that I am terrified of spiders, that mosquitos drink my blood like a high-quality Merlot, and that I use more mint in my lime mojitos than all other herbs combined.
I consider myself an amateur gardener with a passion for learning. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the "fruit" of my labor right in my back yard. If you have ideas, tips or suggestions, please share them.
